Fill your child’s summer with the welcome sounds of music and laughter!
No previous music instruction required.

Join us in this two-week introduction to the magic of music. Our fun and engaging camp includes music appreciation, musical theatre, singing and movement, music games, arts and crafts, and much more! Students will explore different instruments including piano, guitar, recorder, drums, and many more. In our inspiring musical theatre classes, children will sing, dance, act, and design and make props and costumes for a student-inspired and student-created musical theatre performance - merging visual arts, musicality, and social elements for an exciting final presentation. Qualified professionals help bring out your child's individuality in a fun and creative environment by leading small elective classes in small groups designed to promote individual attention. mNo previoususic instruction is required.

Music Counselors in Training (CIT) program:
For teens ages 13 to 16 who love music, theater arts, and helping others! Our program offers a chance to work closely with experienced artistic professionals in a warm, supportive environment for children. The two-week camp format allows time to practice a variety of skills necessary for helping young children learn while having fun, focusing on positive reinforcement, setting reasonable expectations, appreciating differences, classroom etiquette, and much more. At the end of each two-week session, participants receive a “Counselor in Training” certificate, and have the opportunity to receive recommendations from professional Keys for Kids staff.

Extended Day Program (Optional)
Students will design their own instruments, learn about sound properties, natural harmonics and their relationship to the strings, and much more!

The two-week camps offer something for everyone who loves music, and flexible scheduling to accommodate vacation plans and parents’ schedules. Register with a friend and receive a “friendly” discount!

Annie enjoyed the camp SO much (as did we).  Watching those kids learn what they could accomplish together in such a short time was wonderful.  And the three Dung Beatles singing is a priceless video....  You are some kind of magician. Thanks so much, Inga.
Jane Connor, parent

Our daughter has LOVED the Keys for Kids summer program for the last two summers.  She has made friends and had so much fun learning the songs and practicing for the show.  At the end of the two weeks, we are always amazed at how much they have learned!
Jennie, parent

Thanks for running the summer arts camp.  Chloe absolutely loved it.
She's been to various camps, but this is by far her favorite.  She says next year she wants to do upside down fairy tale camp every week! Thank you, and we look forward to next summer.
Christine Jiayou Taylor, parent

Our daughter had a wonderful time at camp! She looked forward to going every day.
She loved the music, the play, the set making, the teachers, and yet she took learning her lines and songs very seriously. We were very impressed with the whole experience!
